Divisions will be:
Under 8s – varied. Boys, mixed and girls divisions for 10 – 16s. We would love to commence all girls divisions so please let us know if you would like to participate and we shall make divisions depending on the registration interest. All mixed teams must have a minimum of 4 girls.
Our Junior (ages 6-16) comp is held in Spring/Summer at Picton Sportsground, Fairleys Rd, Picton on Monday afternoons between 4.30 and 7.pm
Cost is $90 per player inclusive of the Australian Oztag Registration. Shorts are $30. Tights are $35. Only official Oztag shorts may be worn. Shorts can be purchased on rego nights or at the ground on game night.
Each player must be the age of the division they have registered to play in or younger by the 31ST December of that year. Players found to be knowingly breaching this rule will be disqualified from the competition. The team they play for will have points deducted or may also be disqualified.
To guarantee your child plays with their friends it is best to enter as a team.
IT IS GETTING MORE AND MORE DIFFICULT TO PLACE INDIVIDUALS INTO TEAMS. YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO ENTER A FULL TEAM. INDIVIDUALS WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST WITH NO MONEY TAKEN. IF WE ARE ABLE TO PLACE YOU IN A TEAM YOU WILL BE CONTACTED.
Individual registrations will not be taken prior to registration dates. These players will have to email their details and if a position is found you will be contacted. .If you know a group of friends who wish to play together, it is best to all register at the same time. However, to ensure you get the opportunity to play with your friends. It is best to register as a team.
Divisions are U8, U10, U12, U14 all of which are either mixed teams or boys teams. U16 is mixed only. Under 7’s division will be made if registration numbers are high enough. Timeslots and divisions are dependant on the number of registered teams.
Teams must be fully financial by Round 1 or will not be included in the draw. The competition runs for 10 weeks, followed by Semi & Grand Final. Top 4 teams to Semi finals in each division. Due to time constraints on venues a maximum of two washed out games will be played after the last round.
Official Oztag referrees control all games.
